The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:4-9

Our family is a circle of strength and love, with every birth and every union, the circle will grow, every joy shared adds more love, every crisis faced together, makes the circle stronger

It's been 2 years tomorrow....

I have shared these pictures on my blog before and just felt like sharing them again. This time 2 years ago my family and I were trying to prepare ourselves for what was going to be one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do in my life!!! My PawPaw had been so sick and in and out of the hospital the whole year of 2007 and his time here on earth was drawing short. The drs. had told us this was it and they would do all they could to just keep him comfortable but it would only be a matter of time. We stayed beside him all night, taking turns holding his hands, I would sing you are my sunshine in his ear (that was just a very special song between us since I was a little girl). They next day, July 25, 2007 he went home to be with the Lord after being so sick and miserable for quite some time. He was ready...... I was not. As selfish as that sounds. This man was my PawPaw but also my "daddy". He taught me so much and gave me so much love. I could go on and on about memories I have with him and what he means to me but I think you get it. I still miss him so much but know he's in such a better place. He loved my little Sam so much! Sam was 3 when he passed and he still talks about him, I hope he never forgets him, he was the BEST!!

I miss and love you so much PawPaw.... YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE :)

What an AwEsOmE dAy :)

All I can say is I LOVE THE WEATHER that we've had around here the past couple of days and wish it would stay this way FoReVeR!!! We headed up to Monto Sano park today and had the best time!! We had a picnic, played some baseball...football...frisbee, enjoyed the playground, walked on some of the trails and I could've just layed on that blanket all day. We just dont get to many days like this in July and today we made the best of it!! Tomorrow after church we're gonna get together for another little picnic at the ball park with some friends and let the kids play ball. Cant believe sign ups for fall ball are in a couple of weeks. Its gonna be far from "fall ball" its gonna feel like summer ball. But I wont complain because Im thankful that God has given us a break from the HOT and HUMID days of summer :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

a week at the beach

What an awesome vacation we had at the beach. A much needed one!!! Let me go ahead and say again... we didnt get the results we had wished for from the IUI. It helped being at the beach to help take my mind off of it. I left all my cares and worries at home and really enjoyed myself with my family. God knew how much I needed to be there with family and what a blessing it was. I really had my hopes up high this month! We are taking this month off from shots and Chad has an appointment with a urologist this month... hoping to get some answers and maybe even a quick fix!!! I want to be pregnant SO BAD!! Anyways not giving up... must keep pushing forward. My faith is strong and I know God will answer my prayers.... patience.... patience......

The beach was awesome. Out of 7 days there was only one day that it rained off/on all day. It was so nice to get up in the mornings, relax, head to the beach, nap, and then some good eatin!! Thats pretty much how we did it :) Sam LOVED the beach, he could have just played in the sand and waves all day. Now he is lookin like a little ginger bread man! I love little dark haired boys with a tan! We stayed up late, found some great seashells, caught a little crab named 'Hermie" who btw didnt make it :( ate some GREAT food, played the Wii, soaked up some sun..... ok you get it. IT WAS AWESOME. I wanna go back now.

Took lots of pictures as usual......
