Finally... a trip to the apple orchard

Sam and I have been wanting to go to Scotts apple orchard for quite some time and havent been able to for one reason or another!! Finally yesterday we went when he got out of school!! Yum.... Apple Cider Slushies, they are the best!! They were out of candy apples... guess that means we'll just have to go back again :) We bought a small bag of red delicious and a small bag of granny smith which is my favorite!!
Takin a trip to the apple orchard is just another tradition that I love about this time of year!

Fall Break Trip to the Nashville Zoo

Way to go Meridianville Vipers!!

Be ready for lots of pictures!! I am so proud of my little ball player. It was his first season of coach pitch baseball after playing 3 seasons of t-ball and he did awesome!!! The whole team did a great job and they are so ready for the spring season now. Congratulations Vipers for winning the 1st place title for 6 year old boys coach pictch. The final game Sam even hit his first homerun in coach pitch.... I was a proud Moma :) I also had a good time takin the team picture and individual pics of all the players this season for everyone!
We had a break from ball this week and next week it will be time to get ready for basketball. It will be Sams first time to play basketball and Chads first time to coach basketball so we will see how that goes?

Not in a bloggin mood lately

Have just been SO SO busy and not really wanting to blog not sure why but I have lots to catch up on that I will have to do later because we are about to go to the movies and see Toy Story in 3D!!
Since Ive posted Sam has had lots of ballgames and they actually won 1st place in the 6 year old boys coach pitch!! Way to go M-ville Vipers!! I have lots of pictures to post later!!

Today would have been my PawPaw's 86th birthday!! Wish he was here to celebrate with him!! He would've loved to see Sam play baseball. Anyways, Happy Birthday PawPaw.... We miss you so much and love you!!

Hope everyone is having a great fall break, we are having a great time just hanging out around here!! Planning on takin a trip to Nashville tomorrow!!

Thankful Thursday

Today I am so very Thankful for the sunshine. On the way to take Sam to school it was absolutely beautiful, the sun shining down through the clouds and the thick fog. It was truly a beautiful morning and after what, 2 weeks of rain that is much to be thankful for. Still looking forward to cooler fall weather ahead!!

So thankful that Sam's school got to participate in see you at the pole this week. To be able to meet together at the flag pole at school and pray for our country and our community together with classmates is AWESOME!!

Thankful for all the things that go along with fall..... the cool crisp air..... mums, pumpkins, corn stalks, hay bales to decorate with! Its my favorite time of the year and the beginning of lots of fun times. We always have so much fun going to the pumpkin patch and all the other fall festivities. Oh and need to make a trip to Scotts apple orchard too.... apples, apple cider, and of course a few candy apples!! and Alabama football!! Can you tell I LOVE FALL!!

As always I am thankful for my wonderful family, friends, including all my bloggin friends!

say a prayer for this family, i dont personally know them but found out through a friends blog that I read www.bandssullivan.blogspot.com Sara who was pregnant with their first child was diagnosed with breast cancer during the pregnancy and passed away not to long after their baby was born. My heart just breaks for this family!! Please pray for this father and baby.
