Um ... I meant couldnt escape the heat!!!
Saturday Sam and his Red Sox team had their first travel ball experience. It was an ALL day tournament in Ardmore!! Thankful for some clouds and overcast that day but still it was Oh SO H-O-T!! I was so excited while I was there to see Joy as she was getting to enjoy a day full of H-O-T baseball too!! Fun times!! Our boys won 2 out of 4 games which I thought was great considering the 2 we lost were to teams made up of mostly 7 year olds. It was a learning experience for a sure. I have to say even though it was so terribly hot, had a great time watching them play their hearts out. They had never played a day full of ball like that.

Sunday we hit the Freedom Fest at Flint River Baptist Church and had a great time. You woulda thought we had enough of the heat on Sat. but no we were back out in it again and had a blast!!

What a HOT, HOT day!!! Thank God for clouds...I think I might have said that 100 times that day. You are such a good mama, taking pictures. I brought my camera & never even got it out :( The highlights of my day were running into you & watching my baby hit a homerun all the way to the fence :)
