The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:4-9

Thankful Thursday

I am gonna try to make sure I do a Thankful Thursday post every week now that Sam is in school and I have a little more time on my hands!!
This week I am soooo thankful for Sam's new school where he started kindergarten!! This has been a very bittersweet week to see Sam start kindergarten but I just cant wait to see what all God has in store for this school. Thankful for the loving director and teachers that Sam has to teach him and love on him while he is away from me, it has made me feel so at ease to know he is there with them!!I am so thankful for my husband and that he has a great and reliable job that allows me to be a stay at home mom and be available to care for Sam at all times. I would not trade anything for the past 5 most memorable years at home with Sam.
I am so thankful for my most faithful God, even though I may not always understand all the reasons for things in my life right now. I know he has a reason for everything and that I must be thankful for that!! Thankful that he is teaching me patience and over the past couple of weeks given me somewhat of a peace with our infertility struggle.
Thankful for a fun weekend ahead... a canoeing trip.... never done that before but I am very excited and thankful for the time we will get to share with our church family and have a fun time!!
SO THANKFUL my hubby comes home from a business trip today!! Sam and I have missed him so much!!
Last but not least I was so thankful for this picture below that Sam made at school and brought home yesterday!!

~dont forget to be thankful~

Too sweet!! I haven't had time to post about our Abby's week at Kindergarten, but what a huge milestone in their little lives! So glad Sam and YOU are doing well with the transition! Love the collages - you'll have to share your tricks :)

Is that Mellissa Walker his teacher? She is a client of ours and has been for several years. She is precious. I know Sam will have a good year with her. Let's get together on a Monday with Laura for lunch soon. blessings
