The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 4:4-9

Our family is a circle of strength and love, with every birth and every union, the circle will grow, every joy shared adds more love, every crisis faced together, makes the circle stronger

A first report card and fall festivities

Sam got his first report card.... Really??? It doesnt seem possible!! This year is flying by. Sam is doing really well in Kindergarten and we are very proud of him. His only dislike is handwriting!! And thats what he got a "B" in. If he takes his time he does really well, but thats the problem he doesnt like to write so he hurrys to get it done. I really think he has done great though!! We had to reward him with a little surprise, he was able to get a new Wii game (only one in $20 price range) Way to go Sam, keep up the good work!

Yesterday his class took a field trip to Lyon family farms http://www.lyonfamilyfarms.com/

they had a great time. Couldnt believe I caught him holding hands with one of the little girls in his class.... how sweet!

Last night Chad and Sam carved pumpkins. We usually do the carving kit and trace out some really cool designs in our pumpkins but this year we were a little later getting it done and just went with the traditional jack-o-lantern.

Lookin forward to this weekend and fun with friends on Halloween!!
