I got word of very sad news today. Our former pastor when we were members of Flint River Baptist Church, Rodney Bowling passed away last night suddenly from a heart attack. He baptized Chad and I both in 1999 and then later performed our wedding cermony in 2000.
I was in total shock when I got the news today and cant stop thinking about it. He was a husband and a father to 2 sons and one daughter. He was only 46 years old. So this was very much unexpected. I dont know any more details at this time. Please pray for the Bowling family.
